About Me

Hey there! I’m Maliha Charania, a cybersecurity leader with over 14 years of experience transforming how organizations approach risk and security on a global scale. As the creator of Tech She Secures, I’m passionate about empowering others, especially women and underrepresented groups in tech, to take ownership of their futures and thrive in the industry. From leading the development of the first global cybersecurity risk management function at Pakistan’s largest university hospital to guiding Fortune 100 companies in the U.S., my work has always been about making real, lasting impact.

I’ve been fortunate to work with teams across Pakistan, the US, the UK, Africa, and Central Asia, helping them navigate complex security challenges in healthcare, academia, and consulting. My focus is on aligning security with business objectives, ensuring that cybersecurity becomes a driver of success, not just a safeguard.

But my passion goes beyond security, my heart is in creating space for others. Tech She Secures is a platform built to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and amplify the voices of those who are often underrepresented. As a Pakistani woman in the U.S., I understand the importance of representation, and I’m committed to helping others find and own their stories.
